Shipping Policy

Currently shipping to U.S. street addresses.

Orders are sent as they are received; on business days during normal business hours.

If something is broken or not as described; return postage, a refund, store credit, replacements, or other appropriate action will be assessed at the time, and in coordination with the customer, to the best of our abilities.

It is our belief that responsible, honest, and timely business practices pave the way to customer satisfaction.

Shipping Methods, Costs, and Packaging

If the weight of your order plus the packaging material is less than 1 pound (454 grams) the least expensive shipping option is first class mail via USPS. We typically use:

• 6"x4"x4" cardboard boxes
or
• padded mailing envelopes

Shipping cost is from $3-$6 depending on weight.

If the weight of your order plus the packaging material is over 1 pound; the least expensive shipping option is USPS priority mail in either:

• flat rate padded envelope ($8 approximate)
or
• regional rate A box ($8 to $13 approximate)

Shipping costs for the regional rate A box vary based on distance and in some areas, notably from my memory in California, it is arbitrarily more expensive.

For orders too large or too heavy for the aforementioned USPS packages, the least expensive option is UPS.

Shipping cost with UPS starts around $12, and we use the best size box we can find to ship larger orders.

Please note these are the observed rates as of the current time, and subject to change with inflation or rising fuel prices.

Order Policy

Magnetosphere.net is here to furnish hobbyists, technicians, and electronics experimenters of all types with the parts they need, without unnecessary expense.

Occasionally, stock levels may be listed incorrectly. Items which cannot be located or have been sold out will be refunded, and the rest of the order sent normally.

If something is wrong with your order, we want to make it right or refund the items in question.
